The faith stretch.
For most of us, things will happen in our lives that will test our faith as we walk through various trials-financial challenges, health problems,
relationship difficulties, real needs, and natural disasters…
and for some of our brothers and sisters the trials are much greater as so many live under constant threat of death and persecution from totalitarian regimes.
Faith is a quality that is much desired, but not easily acquired.
It is not something that grows as we bask in laid-back comfort and natural security.
The Scriptures tells us that “without faith it’s impossible to please God…” Hebrews 11:6
Have you ever wondered why that is?
The Creator of the Universe, our Father God wants us the rely on Him. Period.
Because He loves us and knows what it takes to realize our full potential, not because He desires to punish us.
So things happen…are allowed to happen in our lives and circumstances that take us to the place that we can’t fix things ourselves.
The place between rocks and hard places, the place where we finally surrender.
It is in the dark places-where our faith begins to flourish as we call on the One who is Master over the impossibles, over the darkness.
Over everything.
The One whose banner over us is Love.
Faith, beloved.
