“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”

Yesterday after reading this passage, I had a vision of a soldier that was lying prostrate, severely injured. There was someone tending to this wounded soldier- at first I thought it was an ordinary medic, but then I realized he wasn’t just an ordinary “medic”. It was Yeshua. As He worked to resuscitate the wounded man he grabbed the soldier close up by the face and said: ” DON’T GO TO SLEEP!” STAY AWAKE! STAY WITH ME! KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN AND ON ME!”.
EMT’s & medics work to keep the patient conscious while they are being treated…if the patient becomes unconscious there is a greater risk of death.In the spiritual world there is also a greater risk of death when we are injured and allow ourselves to “fall asleep”, and close our eyes, taking our eyes off Him.
Keep your eyes open and on Him, Beloved.
Whatever injuries you have, whatever you are suffering from, He promises to never leave us or forsake us!
